The DockHounds are an Independent Baseball Team for the American Association of Professional Baseball (Partner of the MLB). In addition, Lake Country plays in the East Division for the League. The DockHounds have no prior Minor League affiliation with any MLB club. The franchise is one of the several state-based professional baseball teams along with the Milwaukee Brewers, Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, Beloit Sky Carp & Milwaukee Milkmen.

The DockHounds have been playing their home games at Wisconsin Brewing Company Park since 2022. Speaking of Wisconsin Brewing Company Park, the 3,500-capacity ballpark is about a 40-45 minute drive from Downtown Milwaukee (home of the NBA’s Milwaukee Bucks). In fact, the stadium is also about a 2.0-hour drive from Green Bay (home of the NFL’s Green Bay Packers). The DockHounds are currently the newest team to play in the American Association of Professional Baseball. The franchise began play in 2022 and became an in-state rival for the Milwaukee Milkmen. The team’s official mascot is Louie B. Sluggin the Dog.
