ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter first reported that the New York Giants have signed Wide Receiver (WR) Kenny Golladay to a multi-year deal. The contract will be for four years and it will be worth about $72 million. Golladay has spent his entire career with the Detroit Lions and received at least 50 first downs in each of the two of his first four campaigns.
Why Did Kenny Golladay Sign with New York?
New York decided to sign Kenny Golladay in order to bolster its roster and improve its playoff chances. The Giants went 6-10 during the 2020 season and barely missed the playoffs. With the newly-acquired WR in the fold, Golladay will get to team up with QB Daniel Jones and WR Darius Slayton.
