With the College Football Season around the corner, the Kansas State Wildcats are ready for kick-off! The men in Purple and Gray have been playing at Bill Snyder Family Stadium since the late-1960’s. Speaking of Bill Snyder Family Stadium, the venue can hold at least 50,000 fans in attendance. The Wildcats’ football venue is about a 1.5-hour drive from Lawrence, KS (home of the Kansas Jayhawks). Bill Snyder Family Stadium is also located on the Kansas State University campus. The school’s football stadium was named after longtime head coach Bill Snyder.
Since its opening, the Wildcats football venue has witnessed some of the greatest college football players and coaches in history. Those players are the following: Bill Snyder (head coach), QB Collin Klein (Heisman Finalist), WR Tyler Lockett, RB Darren Sproles, WR Jordy Nelson, Jim Dickey (head coach), and many more! The men in Purple and Gray last won a Conference Championship during the 2012 season (shared). Since 2010, the Wildcats have played in nine bowl games.
