With the College Football Season around the corner, the Kansas Jayhawks are ready for kick-off! The men in Blue and Crimson have been playing at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium since the early-1920’s. Speaking of David Booth Memorial Stadium, the venue can hold at least 45,000 fans in attendance.

The Jayhawks football venue is about a 40-45 minute drive from Kanas City, Missouri (home of the NFL’s Chiefs and MLB’s Royals). David Booth Memorial Stadium is also located on the University of Kansas campus. The school’s football stadium was named after Kansas Graduate David Booth (who donated millions of dollars to renovate the facility). The stadium also serves as a memorial for the University of Kansas students who fought for the U.S.

Since its opening, the Jayhawks football venue has witnessed some of the greatest college football players and coaches in history. Those players are the following: Mark Mangino (head coach), QB Todd Reesing, CB Aqib Talib, QB David Jaynes, Glen Mason (head coach), and many more! The men in Blue and Crimson last won a Division Championship in 2007. Recently, the Jayhawks played in a bowl game in 2008.
