With the Minor League Hockey Season underway, the Kalamazoo Wings are ready to drop the puck! The Wings are an ECHL affiliate of the Columbus Blue Jackets. In addition, they play in the Central Division for the Western Conference. The Wings have been an affiliate for the Blue Jackets since 2021. Kalamazoo previously partnered with the Tampa Bay Lightning (2016-2017) and the Vancouver Canucks (2017-2021). The Wings played in the 2011 Kelly Cup Finals, but lost to the Alaska Aces (now the Portland Mariners in Maine).
