With the Minor League Baseball Season (MiLB) underway, the Hartford Yard Goats (based in Hartford, Connecticut) are ready to play ball! The Yard Goats are a Double-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies. In addition, they play in the Northeast Division for the Double-A Northeast League. The Yard Goats have been an affiliate for the Rockies since 2015. The team was formerly known as the New Britain Rock Cats (based in Connecticut), but relocated to Hartford in time for the 2016 season. New Britain was also a Double-A team for the Minnesota Twins from 1995 until 2014.
