The Voyagers are an Independent Baseball Team for the Pioneer League (partnered with the MLB). In addition, Great Falls plays in the Northern Division. The Voyagers were a Rookie farm club for the Chicago White Sox from 2003 until 2020. As part of the MLB’s Minor League reorganization in 2020, the Great Falls franchise became an independent baseball club.

The Voyagers have been playing their home games at Centene Stadium since 1969. Speaking of Centene Stadium, the 3,000-capacity ballpark is about a 5-10 minute drive from Downtown Great Falls. In fact, the stadium is also about a 3.0-hour drive from Ogren Park at Allegiance Field (home of the Pioneer League’s Missoula PaddleHeads). The Mustangs are one of the three professional baseball teams in the state of Montana along with the Billings Mustangs and Missoula PaddleHeads. Centene Stadium is currently the oldest active baseball stadium in the Pioneer League. The team’s official mascot is Orbit the Green Alien (not to be confused with Orbit, the Houston Astros mascot).
