With the College Basketball Season around the corner, the GU Bulldogs are ready for tip-off! The men in Red and Navy Blue have been playing at McCarthey Athletic Center since 2004. Speaking of McCarthey Athletic Center, the venue can hold at least 6,000 fans in capacity. The Bulldogs’ basketball venue is about a 10-15 minute drive from Downtown Spokane (home of Minor League Baseball’s Spokane Indians). McCarthey Athletic Center is also located on the school’s campus. The men in Red and Navy Blue have reached the men’s National Championship twice in 2017 and 2021. Since 2015, the Bulldogs have played in the Elite 8 four times (2015, 2017, 2019, 2021).
