With the Minor League Baseball Season (MiLB) underway, the Fresno Grizzlies (based in Fresno, California) are ready to play ball! The Grizzlies are a Low-A Team affiliate of the Colorado Rockies. In addition, they play in the North Division for the Low-A West League. The Grizzlies have been a farm team for Colorado since 2021. The Minor League team previously partnered with the Washington Nationals (2019-2020), Houston Astros (2015-2018), and San Francisco Giants (1998-2014). The Grizzlies formerly played as a Triple-A affiliate, but got demoted to Low-A status following the MLB’s farm team reorganization in 2020.

The Fresno Grizzlies have been playing their home games at Chukchansi Park since 2002. Speaking of Chukchansi Park, the 10,000-capacity ballpark is located in Downtown Fresno. The ballpark is about a 2.5-hour drive from San Jose (home of the NHL’s San Jose Sharks and Minor League Baseball’s San Jose Giants). Chuchansi Park has the most stadium capacity in the Low-A Farm System. The ballpark also has a swimming pool/jacuzzi located at the centerfield concourse. The team’s official mascot is Parker T. Bear.
