Welcome to the Dayton Dragons 2025 MiLB season! The Dragons are celebrating their 25th anniversary this year and they want to win their first ever championship. In addition, the organization is coming off a season where the team snapped its seven-year playoff drought (dating back the 2017). The Dragons are the only club to have never played in the Midwest League Finals. Now that the Minor League Baseball season is officially underway, the Dayton Dragons have some exciting theme nights for fans to enjoy.

Now that the upcoming season is upon us, you might be thinking “Will they have theme nights this year?” Well, you’re in luck! In 2025, the Dayton Dragons (High-A Farm Team for the Cincinnati Reds; based in Dayton, OH) will host special events for fans of all ages.
Don’t just go to Day Air Ballpark only for a baseball game! There are going to be some nights where the Dayton franchise will showcase pop culture & community events during the course of the season. April 2025 Dates
- Theme Nights Include Home Opener at Day Air Ballpark (8), Hometown Heroes Appreciation (25), Salute to Veterans (27), and Dayton Flyers Baseball vs. Wright State (29 at 7:00 P.M.).
- Home Opponents for April: Fort Wayne TinCaps-Padres (8-13) and West Michigan Whitecaps-Tigers (22-27).
May 2025 Dates
- Promo Days Include Childhood Illness Awareness (7), Local Community All-Stars-Police & First Responders (8), Mother’s Day Celebration (11), Honoring the Hometown Heroes (27), Team Zoom Canine Entertainment Show (29), and Boy & Girl Scouts Overnight Camp (30).

Performance (7), Meet the Team Day (7 at 10:00 A.M.), ZOOperstars Spectacular (8), Salute to Hometown Heroes (17), Childhood Disease Awareness (18), Heater’s Recycling Bin Initiative (19), Star Wars™ Mania (20), and 25th Anniversary Fan Fest (21 at 9:30 A.M.).
