The History of Dallas Cowboys Football at AT&T Stadium
With the NFL Football season underway, the Dallas Cowboys are ready for kick-off! The Cowboys been playing home games at AT&T Stadium since 2009. Speaking of AT&T Stadium, the venue can hold at least 100,000 football fans in capacity. The team’s venue is located not far from Globe Life Field (home of the MLB’s Texas Rangers). AT&T Stadium is also about a 30-minute drive from Downtown Dallas (home of the NHL’s Stars and NBA’s Mavericks). The Cowboys won three Super Bowl championships during the 1990’s. Since its opening, AT&T Stadium has hosted a Super Bowl in early 2011 (Packers vs. Steelers) along with the annual Cotton Bowl. The venue also hosted the annual Big 12 Championship Game in addition to the 2015 National Championship Game (Ohio State vs. Oregon).
