You have officially arrived at TD Ballpark, which is the Spring Training home for the 2025 Toronto Blue Jays. The stadium is located at Dunedin, Florida, a 10-15 minute drive from Clearwater. TD Ballpark first opened in 1990 after the Blue Jays previously held Spring Training at the now-demolished Grant Field in the same area. During the 2020 season, the stadium underwent renovations that included a 360 concourse and an expanded team store. Before its current name, the venue was formerly known as the Florida Auto Exchange Stadium (2010-2017). Now that the 2025 Grapefruit League season is around the corner, the Toronto Blue Jays are looking to make the Division Series for the first time since 2016. And most importantly, TD Ballpark has some exciting fan events in store to officially start off Spring Training in 2025.
Upcoming Toronto Blue Jays 2025 Grapefruit League Fan Experience:
TD Ballpark Behind the Scenes Tours
On select days before Spring Training begins, TD Ballpark will offer behind-the-scenes stadium tours to the general public. The tours will run on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from January 13 until February 12. They will also be free of charge and begin at 10:00 A.M. at the Main Team Store (1st Base Concourse). Before the tour begins, fans must sign a safety waiver at Jays Shop. The experience will take guests to areas not open on game days such as the home clubhouse, a walk around the stadium, and photo opportunities on the field. Also to keep in mind is that there is a limit of 30 fans per day and the tours cost about $10 per person.
Welcome Back Blue Jays 2025
This kick-off celebration will take place at TD Ballpark on Saturday, February 15 from 12:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. Eastern Time. The event will be free and will include a golf cart parade that begins in Downtown Dunedin at noon and concludes at the stadium. Fans will also get free hot dogs as well as special photo pops, live music, and an appearance from Ace the Blue Jay. The concourse will include interactive games and prizes for the whole family. Anyone who wants to participate in the parade can go on the website: dunedingoescarting.com.
Blue Jays Stadium Giveaways
On Thursday, March 13 vs. Baltimore Orioles, TD Ballpark will give away the Blue Jays Straw Hat to the first 7,000 fans in attendance. Gates for Spring Training games usually open about 90 minutes before first pitch. Since this contest has a 1:07 P.M. start, ticket holders are encouraged to arrive at the venue at approximately 11:37 A.M. to get their straw hats. Remember that this is the only fan giveaway from Blue Jays Spring Training in 2025.
3-Game Packs at TD Ballpark
For those who want more Blue Jays action this upcoming spring can choose the 3-Game Pack. This experience allows fans to pick any three or more home contests from the Grapefruit League schedule. The 3-Game Pack can also save ticket holders money by selecting multiple games for just one price. TD Ballpark has four seating sections to choose from: Infield Box, 200 Level Infield, Outfield Reserved, and Lower Reserved.
Spring Breakout with Blue Jays 2025
On Saturday, March 15, the Blue Jays prospects will play a baseball game against the Minnesota Twins Minor Leaguers. Debuted last year, this event allows fans a chance to watch the MLB stars of tomorrow. Some of Toronto’s Top 5 prospects heading into the 2025 include SS Arjun Nimmala, 3B Orelvis Martinez, RHP Trey Yesavage, and many more. The annual event will begin with a 1:07 P.M. first pitch and gates will open 90 minutes before the game starts.
Canadian Food Offerings at TD Ballpark
The Spring Training site of Blue Jays baseball provides fans some food items not found in other Grapefruit League stadiums. For instance, the Home Plate Classics stand sells Poutine (Cheese Curds, Gravy, Fries). Another food stand, Local Favorites, offers the Ontario-based Peameal Sandwich (Peameal Bacon, Mustard, Kaiser Roll) with Potato Chips. Over at the Budweiser® Bar, the area serves adult Canadian drinks like Labatt® (please drink responsibly). Of course, since the Blue Jays train in Florida, the Local Favorites stand makes Sunshine State cuisine options such as Short Rib Cuban, Gator Bites, and Grouper Tacos.
