The History of Wisconsin Badgers Basketball at Kohl Center
When the College Basketball Season around the corner, the Wisconsin Badgers are ready for tip-off! The men in Cardinal and White have been playing at Kohl Center since the late-1990’s. Speaking of Kohl Center, the venue can hold at least 17,000 fans in capacity. The Badgers basketball venue is about a 1.5-hour drive from Milwaukee (home of the MLB’s Brewers and NBA’s Bucks). Kohl Center is also located on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus. The school’s football stadium was named after former Milwaukee Bucks Owner/Wisconsin Alumni Herb Kohl. The men in Cardinal and White last played in the National Championship Game in 2015 (lost to Duke). The Badgers also played in the Men’s Final Four in 2014.
