Who Are the Arkansas Travelers? What League Do They Play in?

With the Minor League Baseball Season (MiLB) underway, the Arkansas Travelers (based in North Little Rock, AR) are ready to play ball! The Travelers are a Double-A franchise of the Seattle Mariners. Also, they play in the North Division for the Double-A Central League. The Travelers have been an affiliate for the Mariners since 2017. The Arkansas franchise previously partnered with the Los Angeles Angels (2001-2016) before joining Seattle.

Where do the Arkansas Travelers Play their Home Games? Who is the Official Mascot?

The Travelers have been playing their home games at Dickey-Stephens Park since 2007. Speaking of Dickey-Stephens Park, the 7,000-capacity ballpark is located in Downtown North Little Rock (near the Arkansas River). The stadium also has a baseball museum located between home plate and the 3rd base concourse. The ballpark was named after four Arkansas natives: George Dickey (1940’s Catcher), Bill Dickey (HOF Catcher), Witt Stephens (State Business CEO), and Jackson T. Stephens (State Businessman). The team’s official mascots are Otey the Possum and Ace the White Horse.
