With the Minor League Hockey Season underway, the Adirondack Thunder are ready to drop the puck! Adirondack is an ECHL club of the New Jersey Devils. In addition, they play in the North Division for the Eastern Conference. Adirondack has been a farm team for the Devils since 2017. The franchise previously partnered with the Calgary Flames (2015-2017). The club was formerly known as the Stockton Thunder (California: 2005-2015) before relocating to New York. Stockton eventually received an AHL team called the Stockton Heat (formerly the Adirondack Flames). Since the 2015-2016 season, the Thunder reached the playoffs four times (including the 2018 Eastern Conference Finals).
