- In 2012, Dbacks Starting LHP Wade Miley was a finalist for the NL Rookie of the Year Award. The pitcher compiled a 16-11 record with a 3.33 Earned Run Average and 144 Strikeouts. In fact, Miley was named to the National League All-Star Team that season. However, Wade Miley would go on to lose to OF Bryce Harper of the Washington Nationals.
Brandon Webb
- In 2003, Arizona Starting RHP Brandon Webb was a finalist of NL ROY. He compiled a 10-9 record with a 2.84 Earned Run Average and 172 Strikeouts. Unfortunately, Webb went on to lose to Starting LHP Dontrelle Willis of the Florida Marlins.
Travis Lee
