Full Story on the Departure

With Scott Frost gone, now is the time for the UCF Knights (Based in Orlando, Florida) to make a list of potential candidates. In fact, the possible applicants could be qualified to become the team’s full-time head coach for the 2018 NCAAF Season. Frost will depart Central Florida after just two seasons and a 17-7 record. In fact, he compiled a 12-4 record in the American Athletics Conference (AAC). In addition, Scott Frost guided the team to the 2016 AAC championship and two bowl games. He will replace Mike Riley as the new head coach for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Frost will reportedly receive a 7 year-$35 million contract to coach Nebraska.

2018 Head Coach Carousel

Frost would become the twelfth head coach to leave his current team this season. In October, the Florida Gators parted ways with Jim McElwain after just three seasons. Defensive Coordinator Randy Shannon took over the football team on an interim basis. In November, Tennessee fired Butch Jones after five seasons and Defensive Line Coach Brady Hoke took over interim coaching duties. A couple weeks ago, the UCLA Bruins cut their ties with Jim Mora after six season and Offensive Coordinator Jedd Fisch took over for the rest of the season.

Texas A&M decided to let go Kevin Sumlin while Kent State fired Paul Haynes. Recently, Arkansas decided to end ties with Bret Bielema after five seasons. On Saturday, Nebraska cut ties with Mike Riley after just three seasons. On Sunday, Arizona State fired Todd Graham after five seasons with the program. Not too long ago, former Mississippi State head coach Dan Mullen joined the Florida Gators for the same position. Rice recently parted ways with head coach David Bailiff after an inconsistent season. Jimbo Fisher left Florida State to coach the Texas A&M Aggies. For a complete list, please refer to the information below:
