Another thing to point out is that Southern California has won six Heisman Trophy winners: RB Marcus Allen, RB O.J. Simpson, RB Mike Garrett, RB Charles White, QB Matt Leinart, and QB Carson Palmer. Aaron Boone (Baseball)
- Profile: Manager for New York Yankees (2018-Present) and Infielder for Reds & Yankees (MLB: 1997-2009)
- Connection: The Bronx Bombers skipper spent three seasons with the Trojans baseball program (1992-1994). For his tenure, the former infielder was able to lead USC to two NCAA Tournament appearances in 1993 and 1994. Along with teammate Randy Johnson, McGwire guided the Trojans squad to the 1984 NCAA Tournament appearance. Despite the fact that he actually played college ball at California State (Fullerton), he is still a part of the Fight On community. Will Ferrell (Comedic Actor)
- Profile: Film Actor Best Known for “Elf,” “Anchorman,” and “Saturday Night Live.”
- Connection: Ferrell graduated from University of Southern California with a Bachelor’s Degree (Sports Information). Since his graduation, the comedian has been attending Trojans football games on the sidelines at L.A. Memorial Coliseum. In 2009, Winkler teamed up with then-Head Coach Pete Carroll’s charity to read books to local children in Los Angeles. Despite not going to college at University of Southern California, the actor is still a part of the Fight On Nation.

Tom Sellick (Actor)
- Profile: Television Actor Mainly Known for “Magnum P.I.” and “Blue Bloods.”
- Connection: Believe it or not, Sellick played college basketball for the Trojans during the 1960’s. Following his basketball career, he decided to focus on acting as his full-time career. During an episode of “Magnum P.I.,” Sellick wore a vintage USC hat with team colors of red and gold.

- Profile: Film Director/Actor who Made “Kobe Doin’ Work,” “Capital One® College Basketball Commercials,” and “Do the Right Thing.”
- Connection: Lee attended many Trojans events over the years and even hung out with former Head Coach Clay Helton. Even though the director actually graduated from Morehouse College (Atlanta), he shows support for the men in red and gold since he’s part of the Hollywood fame. Lee even got to meet former running back Reggie Bush, whose Heisman Trophy was vacated as part of the NCAA investigation conducted in 2010.

Since her graduation, Saweetie made multiple appearances at Trojans contests at L.A. Memorial Coliseum. In fact, the rapper even got to meet the USC cheerleaders and some fans while wearing a Roman Trojan hat.
George Lucas (Film Creator)
- Profile: Creator/Director who was Responsible for “Star Wars™,” “American Graffiti,” and “Indiana Jones™.”
- Connection: Lucas is a notable alumni from University of Southern California. In 2004, the director made a public appearance at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena (USC vs. Michigan). During the 1970’s filming of “American Graffiti,” Lucas was seen wearing a USC Trojans coat while interacting with actor Ron Howard.
