The University of Washington Huskies are one of the most popular college teams in America. In its program history, the men in purple and gold last won a National Championship in 1991 vs. Michigan. Since the 2010’s, the Huskies won two Pac-12 Conference titles (2016 & 2018). Washington also reached the College Football Playoffs during the 2016 season, where they lost to Alabama in the Peach Bowl.
Another thing to point out is that the Seattle-based school has never had a Heisman Trophy winner in program history.
